3D Modelling Class
Between my math, coding, and project management classes; I had very little free time. Add this one, and Im booked.
So the bad news is I'll be posting very little. Im actually considering changing my Patreon from a monthly subscription to a by-upload subscription.
However, there is some good-ish news for me. My final project is to build game assets for my own game, like ready-to-go assets that just need a bit of code to work. Then near the end of the class I have to present the game concept and models to game companies in the area.
*faint*
Im nervous for the presentation for sure, but I will get a version of Maya for this class. And Ill be building my own stuff, no Daz models.
Ill try to make content here, especially testing Maya renders. But as I said in the previous journal, Ill be quiet when it comes to posting. Ill be checking DA and FA often still (I get bored), but new content might be rare.

It's quite rare for methods to be truly app-specific - techniques can be applied to most other programs, though some work arounds might be needed (It's dynamics and particle systems that are more picky in that regard, modeling is mostly universal)
Digital Tutors even recommends doing this actually - reading up on modeling techniques for say 3DSMax to apply to Lightwave/C4D/whatever, a tool might be named differently or work slightly differently, but it's still a good idea.
In any case, it'll be cool to see what comes of this in the future, and I'm very much jealous here ;P
*slinks off into the corner*
And yeah, the teacher said I can use lightwave or any program that can read the files. So long as I don't use purchased stuff (which I actually have no plans on doing so. Im going to do this 100% by myself).
