The only thing stopping me drawing a lot, is happiness and inspiration.

I would be a lot happier to draw tonnes more, if i was happy irl. Without a BF and a decent job, its so difficult to get into a cheerful enough mood to start sketching.

What about fear of Decline? You work your ass on something and try your best to get it done, only to end up having really bad critics and discouragement when your intention is to share it and you like sharing them! defeats the purpose of sharing, Why Sharing when all you'll get are jeers and boos, demolishing your will to draw thus stopping your learning progress and advancement~

Well practice is practice, they may not like what you do now but look at the progress people can make after time invested? I wasn't even drawing every day and I went from this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3007192/ to this http://www.furaffinity.net/full/15453628/ in the last 5 years. Just draw for you, enjoy what you do, don't give up!

You know what, these aren't just artist lesion, these are life lessons to anyone trying to actually create anything themselves. Very good words to pay attention to!

I've definitely been through this, and still do really. My main excuse was that pictures would never turn out the way I imagined them in my head.

YEah, who hasn't heard that one before, right?

But then, I just kept on going at it. Following all sorts of tutorials and truly making an effort to learn and practice. After that, I just needed to find the right motivation, and for me, it was the fact that your drawing talent is exclusive to you alone. I want my drawings to always look a certain way and I know it won't ever look that way unless I do it myself.

Oh, and all of the God-awful cartoons that are on nowadays that kids are subject to watch. Ugh. Makes my heart cry.

So I've made it my goal to practice as much as i can in animating, drawing and storytelling so I can one day create my own cartoon. Whether it be a series, a simple 1-hour flick or maybe even a comic. Creativity can't be replicated and inspiration should never be taken for granted.

So I say, do you best now or regret that you didn't do your best when you had the chance. Now THAT is a terrible feeling.
