Yesterday marked five years to the day since I moved from AZ to Boston. At this time five years ago, I was enjoying some, uh, quality time with the person I would be asking to marry me a little more than eight months later. Time really flies. And even though I've found myself really missing the beautiful sunsets, seeing jackrabbits the size of a small dog out in the yard at sunrise, and seeing the familiar faces that made up the entirety of my existence for the first 23 years, it's safe to say that one-way ticket was the best investment I've ever made.
