I've constantly been checking the amount of views and favorites the first chapter of my new story has gotten, and I'm pleased with its reception!
In just the first 6 or so hours the story was up here, it received over 100 views and half-a-dozen faves!
Both of those stats are pretty mid-range numbers when compared to my older stuff, but even with that I'm still impressed!
I even got a few brand new watchers because of the story, which is great!
For whatever reason, I was kinda beginning to think my audience was starting to slink away here. I don't get many comments on my journals anymore, and things are only a little better in that department with submissions. Also, I know I hadn't posted anything in a while, before I updated my account with all the old stories from DA and since.
When I DID upload something new, though, you guys showed me that you still care a lot. And thank you so much for that, it really made my day!
I am REALLY excited about this story too, guys! The last time I was THIS motivated to work on a story, I didn't even have a Skype profile yet! X3
I've been working steadily today on chapter 2, and if all continues to go well I should have it up before the weekend is through!
