as a side note, I find the 100% answers on Submissive, Dominant, Master/Mistress, Slave, Bondage Giver and Bondage Reciever to be unsettling.... but that's because some of the questions on that test disturbed me...

I know it CAN sound disturbing, but it's all consensual, plus sometimes it's more than just sexual pleasure in those things!

just, from taking the test myself, it made me concerned about where the consent line is drawn in some questions. don't get me wrong -- I'm all for whatever is mutually consented to. but that's just it; I firmly believe in the rule that consent is defined by an enthusiastic "yes", not just not getting a "no".

where it involves BDSM I think is pretty much down to making sure that the Safeword (or non-verbal equivalent) is always honoured and respected. so I'm probably just being overly wary, but I have my reasons.

I must sound like I'm rambling. heh. sorry about that.

for clarity, BDSM is my life. I only understand relationships in terms of Dom/Sub.

Seems 'bout right I suppose. It does seem there commonly are more subs than doms, which I more than welcome of course! Can understand why many are into the sub role though. I've enjoyed both roles but personally I highly prefer having the role of a dominant.

Which is funny because I'm far from a control freak and normally don't like telling people what to do.

Oh definitely, I do think that in many cases it may have a lot to do with how people's lives are. If they have a lot of control or are in positions of power, they might desire to lose it in the bedroom and vice versa.
