So, for those of you who don't know me much, I have been a 'furry' for 6 years but only chose to express myself more openly after high school ended (2011) and I got my life somewhat more sorted out (2014).
I first decided that year I needed to go to a furry convention and meet some new people who share the same interests.
So I searched the web and found a convention close-ish-enough to where I live, added it to my facebook saves and joined a group for first timers.
Confurgence! I asked some questions and got to know a person who was very kind and understanding (
CynWolfe).
I opened up to them and ended up being invited to a house party :o
I come from a very isolated area so I had never been able to party because I didn't know anyone in my area.
To prepare for the Neon+cocktail+house party I had to prepare myself, so along came my new fursona 'Party fox'!
The party was like nothing I had ever experienced before, it was amazing and I made many new friends :D
The following house parties were just as exciting, always meeting new people and getting to know everyone better.
I booked my tickets for Confurgence and organised the accommodation, then sought out for someone to share the room with.
Next time I will have my own room to say the least :P
A super hectic start to the year (2014),
Confurgence for 4 days doing volunteering and having a great time meeting so many new people!
I bought lots of art and ran around a lot partying and helping out, hopefully I can catch up with many through-out the years ahead less briefly.
Although meeting people briefly I still got to connect with everyone in a positive way :)
As Confurgence was my first ever convention I had no idea about this "Con crud" (which I didn't get) or about PCD (post convention depression).
Well, I guess being happy and smiling for so long has its down sides in the end (most likely also due to lack of sleep also).
Confurgence 2015 Was another year of volunteering alike 2014
Confurgence 2016 This time I burnt myself out being the personal assistant for CynWolfe keeping them on schedule and running errands for them where needed really had a bad after effect for me after the convention.
Confurgence 2017 I was too busy to attend which was unfortunate.
Confurgence 2018 I returned with my partner 
~Cosmo~ which was a great time to relax and meet new people and old friends.
I hope to attend Confurgence 2019 and another Australian convention some time in the future!
I currently have wonderful Footsie-paws by
Kaikirith and tail, hand-paws and ears by 
CritterScape for Ledoyom casual partial.
And now a fullsuit which I will not disclose the maker because it was not made anywhere close to how it was commissioned regrettably. :(
