life is good... ain't it so?
Hello And thank you for sharing a bit of your time and knowledge with me.
My brother owns a 30 year old Chevy citation with a modified engine. He claims to value it a lot. Whether that's true or not ain't in my worries. The thing is that It got stolen from him over a year ago. Found a month after in a hole missing parts and vandalized. We paid to have it pulled out of what ever shit hole that thing was. The shit had no wheels so I helped my brother by buying a set of used rims from a Cavalier but they are too wide for his boat. He being broke as usual never bought tires and just installed them on his time machine and lowered the car on our garage door. We had to push the thing inside and kill the black widow infestation in it.
Over a year has gone by. I cleaned the thing. taped plastic to the broken windows and fumigated it about a dozen times. But my brother hasn't done much of a fix on it. nor buy any of the parts he needs just to get it running. Guys is broke and jobless (like me but a lot worse) To help him out Moma hired him to work in the house and finish things here and there. It came down to the garage door needed a paint job. So we bought the needed things to get it done fast. I even bough a 40 dollar spray gun. Welp its been three weeks and he ain't done with it yet. ... At least he took some time to remove paint from his rust bucket. He had the bright idea to use the remover I bought to remove all of the paint and get to the metal. That was good right? Is good to paint a car that doesn't fucking run..
I joke some times that if he sells it for scrap he'll have enough money to finally fix it!
I wonder if I could use normal metal primer to keep it from actually rusting...
If you read the hole thing. Man I'm so sorry.

Pick n Pull will often give like 200$ for a junk car. if you have on in your area you can call them. Lots of tow companies buy junk cars too.
Your brother lacks motivation. why not help motivate him!
also yes regular oil based primer worke good for cars
i use rustolium rusty metal primer on all the cars i do
And you can brush it on or use a paint roller or thin it and spray it
Just start selling it for parts when hes not paying attention xD
