Question to the Sonic Fan

Hello my Geeklings
First off…I don’t want to start anything I just have a few questions to the users who are into the sonic fandom so please have a opened mind okay….I maybe afraid of this fandom now but I am still a sonic fan…cause I grow up with him….I had the Sega Genesis when I was going up and I played all the sonic game on that system…then I moved onto the dreamcast where I played Sonic Adventures 1 and 2. I also played that snowboarding one (that I can’t remember it was the one with jet the hawk in it) and the last one that I played was the werehog one witch was very nice for a new way of the old sonic games.
I always use to watch sonic not this new one that everyone is going on about “sonic boom” witch I have not seen cause I don’t really want to the voice acting sounds…horrible…but that is just me…but I use to watch the old sonic the hedgehog show with sally (witch in my opinion is the real shipping with sonic…)
So I know a lot about sonic now onto my questions…but first

If anyone of you sonic fan give me a answer of “well I thought he/she was cute so I paired him up with my FC” that is not an answer I am sorry but no…..
If you say anything hateful to say to another then just leave….i understand that people have opinions but I need everyone to be respectful of others on my page please.

I will answer the questions I have asked
1. What got you into the sonic fandom?
How I got into the sonic fandom in the first place was the show “Sonic the Hedgehog” I remember getting up early and sitting down on the couch and eating my cereal watching Sonic and Sally ( the freedom fighters) fighting off Doctor Robotnik and trying to say the people of Mobius. I also use to read the comics when I was young I got all excited when I use to read about Knuckles and juile-su they were my favorite.
2. What sonic characters do you enjoy?
I would have to say Juile-su and Sally they were kiss ass ladies when I was young and still are to this day
3. What games did you play of sonic?
Yes I did I had a Sega genesis when I was a little girl and my mom and I use to play Sonic the hedgehog. I also had a dreamcast with Sonic Adveture 1 and 2 I played a snowboard game with jet the hawk and I played sonic the werehog game.
4. What shows did you watch with sonic?
Yes as you can see from my answer up on 1 I use to watch the old sonic the hedgehog show I have not seen Sonic X or Sonic Boom yet.
5. Why do you pair your FC up with Sonic Characters?
I don’t have any character paired up with any of the characters after a few encounters with some very rude sonic fans I no longer deal with the sonic fandom cause it scares the shit out of me
6. Did you ever read the comics of sonic?
Yes I did when I was growing up I do not anymore cause I feel the art style got lazy and crappy as the time went by.
So those are my questions to you and I want you all to be very truth with me….i am not going to judge you on anything but I don’t want to hear answers like “I thought he/she was good looking so I paired my FC with them.” To me that answer is not a real answer…sorry but its not….if that is the only reason why then…well maybe its time for you to make some more characters for your FC. But that is just my opinion on the subject….
But you all are probably wondering why I am asking you this, cause I have seen a lot of great amazing sonic characters…and I have seen….well a lot of mary-sues….now I don’t know why people make their characters have the perfect body, chest or butt so I am asking you why do you do this? Why do you make a character that sleeps with 2, 3 even 4 guys in this fandom…I can understand that its for fun…but….when someone gives you their honest opinion you blow up and block then or think they are bullying you….Why are you thinking that your character is your baby and you need to protect it? What is wrong with redesigning it a little or not making he/she have more flaws and not a mary-sue or gary-sue? Why make he/she so perfect….
Well…you know something….
I have some news to give you….this is the internet if you don’t like others critique your art…well then maybe you should have never put your art up cause you are on an art site people will say their opinion now you can either accept the opinion and try to work harder at it or from what I have seen, be a bully to that person calling then names, blocking them, hiding comments….and no I am not just talking about one person.
For the 10 months I have been on DA and FA and IB I have seen people bully, be rude, even give threats to people you don’t know! Why is it so hard for some people to just….accept critique….you need to grow up and start to act like an adult….just cause you don’t like something does not mean you have to shave your opinion down other’s throats that is just wrong…and it makes me said…cause when I was in high school I found DA and I thought it was a great site but now…it has gone down hill….no one listens to anyone anymore….and if you give your opinion or try to help someone you’re the bad guy believe me I know how that is….its not good feeling…but I will keep my head up high cause I have friends on here that support me and I support them…they will help me and listen to me and I thank them with all my heart….and if there is another I can do to help them I will be there in a heart beat…

I forget to add the shadow the hedgehog game i loved that game!
I can't even recall to be honest, I remember watching one of the older cartoons as a little kid but I think I got into it because an online friend of mine was really into it for a while.
2. What sonic characters do you enjoy?
Tails and Sally, Tails mainly because I've had a love for them since I was really little and he was so cute and Sally mainly since after learning more about her I really liked her as a strong female character.
3. What games did you play of sonic?
I've played a little bit of the first two games, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Riders (That's the game with Jet), and Sonic Adventures 2: Battle (my fave)
4. What shows did you watch with sonic?
Mainly Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Underground, and Sonic X
5. Why do you pair your FC up with Sonic Characters?
I use to do that but not really anymore. I use to do it mainly because I liked the character but the only one I ever paired a FC with was Tails. The FCs I have anymore are either paired with ones I made or ones my friends made. The only relationship they might have with an official character is a bro/sis like friendship.
6. Did you ever read the comics of sonic?
I didn't even know they existed until maybe 4-5 years ago when I spotted some at the library and learned about them from an artist I fallow. I have yet though to read them.
THAT is what the two games were called sonic unleashed, and sonic rider i could not remember the names of those two
i heard that sonic 06 was...kinda bad
The sonic fandom was one of my first, with 'The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' being what got me into the sonic series. Eventually I got a gamecube, and went from there with Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I loved the style and repetitive adventures, but mostly, the chao garden. I love the chao, primarily for the many things you can get out of creating a chao.
2. What sonic characters do you enjoy?
I love sonic and Mighty the Armadillo. SOnic, not because he is cute, but I loved the lessons he taught me as a kid, and I was always sure to follow them. Mighty, was because he is well mannered, and I did pity him for having been kicked out of Chaotix
3. What games did you play of sonic?
I played [Sega] Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Sonic Spinball, Sonic R, Sonic: the Fighters [Gamecube] Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, sonic mega collection, sonic gems collection [PS2] Sonic Unleashed sonic the hedgehog (2006)
4. What shows did you watch with sonic?

5. Why do you pair your FC up with Sonic Characters?
Sonic. He helped me through a dangerous and crucial time in my life. He and I made it out of a big storm together, and the man who almost ruined my life forever...was the one I thought I could trust the most. But that being said, he means worlds to me, and I never want to forget the things he did for me. ( copypstad from my page, cus this is the best way to explain)
6. Did you ever read the comics of sonic?
Occasionally. Not too good in my opinion, but I like the artwork.

This is going to sound strang...I got into the Sonic fandom latte 2011. sure I grew up knowing Sonic existed but I was more of anintendo playstation person.
when Sonic gereation came out ..
i had this weird dream that I was in high school getinng spit balls thrown at me, turning around I saw Sonic sitting behind me. So after class I asked him " hey what did you throw spit balls?" Sonic replied " you never played any of my games"
And then I got bit by the Sonic fandom bug. weird how thinhs like that happend

Shadow the hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna and Rouge the bat. They are cool!
3. What games did you play of sonic?
I did play the games back in the day ( when some one has a sega system!) I even played Sonic heros.....But now I've manage to get the games on my PS3 ( aside form Sonic mega collection, Colors and dark night and the mario Olympic cross over. those games are ninendo only)

Sonic cartoon rarly showed on my TV back in the 90's but if I had to pick Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog and Sonic under ground, i prefer lighthearted things with Sonic and not something dark.
5. Why do you pair your FC up with Sonic Characters?
I don't. i wasn't comfortable with OC parring with Cannon characters. any series I did would of been DBZ and Avatar the last airbender.
6. Did you ever read the comics of sonic?
I didn't even know the comic existed til 2012 But I would read the ones that had the intresting characters ( Julie-su, The Echidna's, Scourge)
