several things...but one of the worst ones i'd have to say is when i'm chatting with someone and if i dont reply to the other person within 2 to 5 minutes they're like 'YOU THERE?' or something along those lines...makes me not want to talk to them at all lol

haha I have a friend that I talk to in China who does something similar, but through voice chat. the moment you go quiet, even for a second, he's like "hello? hello? are you there? can you hear me?" I'm just like "YES IM HERE!!" XD
Granted, our connection goes bad often so I guess he just wants to make sure i can still hear him, but sometimes he does go overboard with it X3

well i've never gotten to do puppy play, except maybe in the rp sense but never been fortunate enough to use any gear yet mainly cause i have no idea who'd be interested in such in my area, bdsm type stuff can be good fun ;3 with patience and good communication between a top and the bottom

Where did the idea of noctiel come from?

Well i've been inspired in the past by magickal practice, shamanism, and various other forms of 'mysticism' if you will.

One day when I was working to try and figure out my magickal 'name' or a nickname for myself that had a magical property i sat and meditated for about 10 minutes; i began to feel a rush of energy and allowed my body to speak in 'enochian' which is a type of so called angelic language, what it really is, its hard to wrap your head around for some people but when you allow yourself to connect to a wave of energy that is not seen but felt, with a specific intent in mind (healing, etc) you can allow it to make you translate that energy into words or 'tongue'. Its not exactly like speaking in tongues that churches do but the idea is similar, what I did was more inspired from specific ancient practices.

The name that came through was 'Noctiel' roughly meaning 'night of god'. To me god is an abstract concept that could have various definitions, basically open source word with whatever purpose and definition you give to that word. To me its just a synonym for the universe as an 'all as one' or 'whole' energy source as nothing is truly fragmented or 'polarized' at the source of all things, all existence just IS. So as my rat character was already named 'Noctis' (which was decided years before I even knew Final Fantasy was making a character with that name) I wanted to give him a more spiritual form where he grows angelic wings sort of like a fallen angel rat dude when he is in dire need to save his life or someone else.

It in part also goes into a story I wrote for Noctis which is not online but in it he is subjected to experiments by people trying to manipulate genetics through enochian rituals and his in particular (along with a few others experimented upon) didnt go as they planned. So Noctis has moments where he goes from being punkarse rat to punkarse rat with angelic/demonic powers (but used in a chaotic neutral 'benign' way as he sees fit).

I uttered noctiel in a long drawn out way, not knowing where the word came from and since then the name has stuck as my FA page. So yeah, Noctiel, or roughly translated to refer to 'Night of god' . Another example is 'samael' which means 'venom' or 'poison of god' in this case noctiel is an embodiment of nocturnal but holy/angelic power.
