Lately I've been wanting to do something productive and well, I've turned to crocheting. Went to the ol' Wally World here in town and picked up a beginner's starter kit. Read the directions and tried it...couldn't quite get it. But I watched some crochet beginner's videos on Youtube and I believe I understand now. I haven't really tried it yet as I was playing Skyrim (I've been playing that recently now for a while. So damn addicting >< ) I took my niece with me to the store to buy a few things and picked up my starter kit. I have this red, green and white yarn and it's all Christmas-y. She wanted me to go pink but I was like NO. Pink is NOT my color. I'm a purple girl. I normally don't like red or green but I'm liking the combination of these colors on the yarn. Last night, my cat was trying to have fun with the hooks lol Damn curious cat. I can't wait to get started. I think I may crochet a scarf first then work on these other patterns. There is a lot of neat little things you can do. ^^
