*offers hugs* I'm not quite sure if I understand completely, but I believe you are saying your Uncle is drunk and he promised not to abuse alcohol, but he has done so anyway and is now acting rather mean or bad.

There are a few things I could recommend. Some crueler than others. you could call the cops and have him spend a night in a cell and see if that sobers him up and shows him the error of his behavior and bring about a change.

Or maybe you could call in other family members and hopefully restrain him to he becomes sober and pull an intervention on him and tell him he needs to shape up or ship out.

Either way, he may need to be put into a detox for alcohol abuse if this is something that he is well known for or does often. *hugs again and comforts*

*hugs back*the thing is hes a nice guy.... and he was dropped at our house, since we are the last place he has to go.... and if we call the cops he has a warrent out for his arrest...for a not paid traffict ticket

*hugs* My 2nd husband was a major alcoholic. There's nothing you can do to get him to stop drinking. He has to want to do it himself. All I can say is comfort your mom and hope your uncle sees how much he's hurting her.

Simple, kick him out and send him to rehab. That's the only way. Tell him if he wants to come back, he has to complete time in rehab and get treatment.

hes tried rehab before.....it didnt work...

Then you got to kick him out, take him to a shelter it's harsh but it's one of the only way, another would be to call cops in and have him taken away.

Kick his ass out. If he is a drunk he can deal with it himserlf if he wants to. But don't let him drag people down becuse HE is the drunk.
