Last Episode was released last night of Being Human. I quite enjoyed it.
There was just enough angst, drama, comedy, and romance to keep the whole thing flowing. Of course, I don't want to spoil it if any of my ceaseless ramblings inspires someone to watch it (which you can on the show's blog, even for USA), but the tie ins or "hooks" they put in for the second um... series? season? I'm not too sure the right word to use. 6 episodes is too short for an American season, and I really don't know the right lingo to use with a British show... anyways.. the next batch of episodes has quite the promising story.
Although honestly, if I had to deal with one more overly cliche' werewolf reference, I would scream. The first two were funny... by the end of the episode it was deadpan, almost.
I can't decide which of the three I came to love the most. Mitchel's story was the most driving, I think, but it climaxed mostly in the 5th episode and was still coming off the high in the 6th, but the story was so superb.... George's never really climaxed.. it was a nice sinusoidal curve of plot, until the last 15 minutes of the 6th episode, which was pretty amazing. Annie's story was pretty amazing in itself. I honestly didn't like Annie much for the first half, but her character was so carefully cultivated.
Anyways, I need food. Badly. Off to buy it.
