So I got a call this morning from my friends wife , whom has puppies ( sire my fog and mother is theirs ) anyways she called because the dog I picked out to be mine and was supposed to be free now will be costing me double due to him going to the vet
He might not live due to him having uncontrollable seziues and I guess they are demanding money now too which is bull
Also I am currently jobless and have basically 30$ to help pay my half of the rent this month my mate is paying for me until I find a job , which will be soon
Right now I am screwed 400+$ for a vet bill and I don't even know if he's going to live ...he looks so much like his grandpa who passed by my birthday last year which is why I wanted him so badly
I would set up a patron but I don't know...
Help and advice is always welcome..

Basically, tell them right now you can't afford it, and as much as you want the guy, it's pointless for you to shell out tons of money for a dog that might not even make it. It's not really fair to you, and you should say you're sorry they had to pay for a vet trip.
Honestly, if those people are really your friends, they should understand (And also shouldn't force you to pay a vet bill for a dog that isn't even yours yet ... I mean, technically -as horrible as this sounds- they didn't have to take him to the vet, they made that choice -likely because you wanted to adopt him- and they really shouldn't charge you for that, imho)
Worry about paying rent, don't worry about a dog. There will always be more animals ... right now I think you have enough in the way of animals, I know you love them dearly, and you need to focus on paying your rent, forgo the dog. I know it'll hurt, but seriously, think of your future. Remember that you're an adult now and have to make certain sacrifices, including giving up things you really want. You paying rent right now should be your priority, not paying for a dog that isn't even really yours.
In a different time -say like if you were currently working- I'd be more than happy to help you find people to commission you or donate money to you to pay for a vet bill on this dog, but your rent is what's important now. And I wouldn't want you to fork out that much money, for a dog who might not even live... -hugs- I think that would break your heart too much anyway (You've had enough doggie death in the last couple of years...)
Also, if it keeps up, I know the guy is your friend ... but if the wife harasses you any more over it, call animal protection.
well one the house they're in is HORRIBLE for puppies not really clean nor are there playpens to keep them in one area so they would hid under the couch and more ect
anyways
i was told it had probably gotten into lead paint which is illegal , so they as they rent could sue the homeowner , he was having uncontrollable seziues , i basically told the friends wife to fuck off so i dont know what happened to him now for all i know hes been put down
