BRING ON THE SHORT-DOGS!!!!

So you'll pardon me when I call ABSOLUTE FUCKING BULLSHIT on the notion that people don't like mutts, lol. However, for this picture in my mind, I need purebreds only, thanks!!!
I'll have free art offers for non-breed-specific canines and for general characters at some point...but this is purely for Corgis and ONLY Corgis, thanks!
For example. Here's a sable-colored extra-fluffy but purebred Pembroke Corgi: http://s3.photobucket.com/user/Judy.....dited.jpg.html
I kind of wonder if the person did any Corgi research before making him a cross. ;)
Haha.
And to answer the description, I've dropped the pom from him as is reflected on my profile, but it hasn't been reflected on the refsheet since I figured I'd wait until I redid his sheet. If he's still not allowed to be entered, that's alright though.
But to comment on your assumptions, I did indeed do my research into Corgi fur types and as I've lived around many different types of corgis through my life, I am aware there's ones with extra fluff.
But I also loved pomeranians, and thought when I made my sona originally it would be nice to show some props to the pompoms out there, which get so little love. Adding the detail of him being extra fluffy, and backing it up with the pompom part was a nod to artists, to make sure they didn't draw him with short fur though. I've seen lots of work involving him where he looks like he has quarter inch long fur, because the artist assumed corgis were shortstacks all around! LOL
Either way, I don't consider this additional information to be stupid, although it seems you do.
I don't see much Pom-love in the furry fandom, but I've groomed hoards of them over the years...they get plenty of love in the pet world, at least in my area. Especially after "Boo the cutest dog in the world" published a book and became internet famous. Ironically it was Boo that made me HATE Poms...they're neat little dogs but holy shit, everyone and their mother wants them shaved to look like Boo, yet 99% of pet-quality Poms don't have enough of a mane to have that perfectly round friggin' head. And then I look like the asshole when I can't make their shit-coated dog look like Boo.
My life as a groomer actually became more difficult because of Boo the shaved Pom. Kills a little bit of my soul, honestly. :P
Anyways! :D
As a dog professional and avid fancier of purebreds, I get really irked about how so many folk make mutt-sonas when the traits they're using can be found in purebreds. MAJOR pet peeve. And also hence why I wanna do this picture of purebreds only- it's become cool, even fashionable, to bash purebreds and fanciers of purebreds. :P

I'm off to find some free lines to color and get his stitches on! I also needs to see if I can't commission some ref sheet lines so I can do the coloring. -scuttles off to look for free lines- I'll be back to post another ref when I've gotten his stitches in place. :3
:3 I had fun with him...
