This is the journal of a Wild Chinny! It may contain things, and sometimes also stuff.

As promised to my stream, I am going to put the theme of the next group painting I create to a vote!
Previous group paintings, from oldest to most recent:
Battlestar Furs
Chakat Picnic
Tavern Brawl
Train Group
This next one I'm going to tackle a little differently - rather than simply taking slots then composing the piece after securing sufficient participants, I will first sketch whatever theme wins as a giant YCH, and then you can bid to secure the position in the image that you would prefer! All species and genders, bipedals and taurs alike, will be welcome, and the poses will ultimately be flexible.
Themes up for vote:
A) Graceland Cemetery Fight
This theme will be set in the Dresden Files universe, and will involve a fantasy battle set in Chicago's Graceland Cemetery. Think vampires, werewolves, wizards, zombies, fae - tombstones breaking under the impact of flung characters, casted fire, characters transforming into bat-like demons, and fighting with glowing holy swords.
B) Red Alert Bridge
This theme will be set in the Star Trek universe, featuring a starship bridge during a battle with the borg. Some characters may be already assimilated, beaming onto deck as a boarding party. Laser fire, perhaps some grappling with a bat'leth, some officers at their stations and others being tumbled about, a captain shouting orders.
C) Day at the Arcade
This will be set in an arcade! DDR machines, pinball machines, air hockey, shooters, laser tag - characters will be amid an array of glowing merriment, playing various games and goofing off. Open to additional suggestions if this theme wins.
How to vote: reply to this journal with your first and second choices. First choice votes will be given more weight than second choice votes, but my goal here is to see how many people would legitimately be interested in participating in each theme. So for example, if the Red Alert Bridge has you the most excited but you'd also likely be interested in participating in the Cemetery fight, reply with "First choice B, second choice A". If you're only really interested in one idea, then you do not have to pick a second choice.
YCH slots in whatever piece wins will likely start at $45-$75, depending on the pose and their position in the image. Each character will receive a minimum of three hours of detailing attention regardless of position (high cost positions will be the ones I think I will wind up spending 4-5 hours on), this will be just as polished an effort as the more recent Tavern and Train group pieces. But don't worry about the details of that as much until the theme is chosen: if you think you might want to participate, cast your vote!
I'll leave the vote open until Midnight on Friday the 6th, EST.
Commissions are currently: Open, but approximately 1.5 week queue. May close soon; if anyone has desire for valentine's day deadline commissions, please get them in asap!
Other than in stream or when prior arrangement is made, work is not done on a commission until AFTER payment is received! Queue spots are only set in stone when payment is received, be it full payment or some form of deposit. Unpaid slots can be added to the queue, but when they are paid jump above any other unpaid slots.
