All set for AC

OMG, got hotel booked online this morning. I decided to skip the Westin this year (I'm cool with elevator lines most of the time, but on check-out day it's too stressful), and settled on the Hampton Inn which has free breakfast! So YEAH!
I've been sick all weekend with a cold that my Hubby gave me. When he caught it he accused me of giving it to him from FC which I promptly denied. He didn't believe I wasn't the carrier until I got sick days later.
It did mean I was practically delirious through the booking process due to being sick, I'm lucky I managed the booking at all... I guess all those years booking for San Diego Comic con make AC's hotel passkey system easy enough to do while half awake and doped up on nyquil.
I shall now go back to drinking tea and watching documentaries on netflix and napping. ~_~

Kind of like going to a local comic con a few times before deciding to attempt San Diego Comic con. They're all comic cons, but very different beasts on many levels.
Europe has a lot of Furry cons as well... maybe hop a train and try some of those before making the big trip across the Atlantic.

i heard getting hotel rooms is another story. luckily i have family 45 mins away so i just drive back and forth to con to their house and hang their. plus i get free housing~ so it all works out
There is no real solution to the ticket problem, it's impossible to keep fair. What they really need is a bigger venue..... tsk.... one day O_o
they really do need to expand. its a nice area and all but they really need a bigger area. i heard they wanted to move it to NV but many of the comic con fans say no plus the city likes it cause they bring in money.
There are also rumors and hear-say that San Diego has promised to expand their convention center to accommodate the growing con.
*shrugs* Nerds are good at spreading rumor, so it's hard to cull the wheat from the chaff....I'll just wait and see ^_^
i would really LOVE see them expand but i really dont know how their gonna do it.

He's a nice guy, I've roomed with him before. He brings lots of noms to share.... he does snore though, so earplugs are a must!
