Taking a short break..

I only have one prize art to owe for my Kiriban, but I need to take a break for a few days.

for those who know me well enough, or even remember if I told them the beginning of February is always hard for me, as it marks the day I had a friend pass away, and two days after would have been his 18th birthday.
As a child I was never allowed to attend family members funerals, or even was told that they were even passing, just that they were not well and that they had "gone somewhere else" and due to this, when I lost a friend aged 17.. it was the first time I realised what true loss was. It was the first funeral I'd ever attended and so my brain just doesn't know how to cope with the fact they are gone and they've just "gone on holiday to a place called heaven" eugh.. I'm still in the denial stage of grieving after four years.. I just.. don't know how to speed it along so I can cope.

He touched so many people with the way he was, I guess one would say from a religious standing that "he was too perfect for Earth and was needed for heaven" or so I have heard.. but I still think the circumstances were.. not one that any good "god" would do to such a good person. It's been a pretty bad year last year to do with his actual passing and it's a bit of a hellish nightmare to imagine how bad our justice system is, and that his death was not justified in my eyes and the eyes of his family and friends.
