Life Update

Sorry I've been kind of incommunicado the past few weeks. I was SUPPOSED to be moved into my new apartment by now, but my potential landlord turns out to be an unreliable git. I was supposed to move in on the 10th of January, but the place needed renovations that took longer than expected to complete and so he had to delay my move in date to the following weekend. Then he needed to delay it again. And again. So I said I'm done waiting and I'm getting my security deposit back.
However, I have basically been in a perpetual state of "going to be moving any day now" for the past month so I've had the majority of my stuff packed up and have been living out of boxes the entire time. So for now I'm still crashing in my parents basement and looking for a new place to move into. Not fun, but it is what it is.
Anyways, I'll be posting some more art tomorrow and updating the Couch journal with everyone who's on it. Ended up with 29 people in all. Woo!
Anyways, on a completely different note I've heard from a few people that they wish that I did more with social media. I've never really been terribly into the whole facebook, twitter and tumblr scene. Largely because I never really felt like I had anything that was worth telling the world about. So I figured I'd ask.
What kind of stuff would you like to see me post and where?

As for the rental situation. A very good choice seeing as he probably didn't start the renovations till he got your security deposit. And even if that wasn't the case.. You don't want a landlord who'll promise you the heat will get fixed by such and such.. and then three weeks later still not have it fixed in the middle of winter. Or the water or electric, or the landing outside your door, or your locks, or really anything.
Also I'm sorry that you couldn't move into a new place. *hug*
Facebook, Tumblr, and Twittter are all full of noise. Tumblr is just loaded with pointless memes, Facebook is clumsy to use in addition to requiring that you use your real name (I had a separate furry account and they locked it for that reason), and Twitter just seems to make people crazy; I have lost count of how many "I need a break from Twitter" posts I have seen and I suspect that it's because of the rampant negativity and utter vacuousness of most people's feeds. I have accounts on all 3 of these services, but effectively use none of them.
I'm sorry to hear about your apartment troubles and I hope you can find a new home for yourself in short order. I've been somewhat in the same boat for a while, thinking I might be moving at any time, so I've never fully unpacked from either of my prior two moves. It's been pretty uncomfortable living with so many boxes around. I hope you can get into a more permanent living situation in short order, as I know it's harrying not knowing where you're going to be!
However Twitter is definitely fun and easy way to post a quick update and stay up to date
