TFF2015 Birthday - Magic Time Machine - Saturday, Feb. 21

Here's trying to see who might be interested in trying to meet up at TFF on Saturday the 21st in the evening. I'd like to get a group of folks together to enjoy a fun meal in a fun setting as well as coincidentally celebrate my birthday which will be on the 19th.
The Magic Time Machine is an awesome restaurant especially with things like the Roman Orgy which needs at least 4 people to go in on... ;3 I don't want to spoil the place too much but suffice to say it is a fun place to celebrate such things as birthdays! I should be able to provide a bit of transportation since I will likely have a car & can ferry some people to/from. :3
In any event looking forward to my visit to TX as I'll be visiting with family/friends prior to TFF, but looking forward to the con itself.

I pretty much do that every year lol. Hoping to take some out of town friends to Lockhart's BBQ again, maybe Jack Mac's, maybe Bambu Thai, Hakata Ramen...so many places to go and so little time lol.

I'm planning on the Ramen place at least once while there... the rest is kind of as we decide to do anything... might even go to Best Thai... not sure... but certainly looking forward to this to no end... this is going to be purely social so no constraints on time... might check out some panels or something... the game room? Who knows!

Sounds like a good way to do it! That Best Thai near the hotel is really good. Have you been over to Bambu in Richardson? Its off Coit. Supposed to be the best thai food in Texas, and one of the best Thai restaurants in the country, according to some of the food reviewers.

I think it's one of those "best kept secret" type of places. It's actually run by a mother/daughter combination, I believe. The mother is the chef...and she's originally from Northern Thailand.
