Finally my voice has recovered. It was still not good even after the cough went away... hard to explain but it felt so off whenever I tried to record anything. I had to give it a full rest which is hard, cuz I love singing so much and have so many projects on the back burner.

I've been warming up lately, occasionally singing, but mostly working on backing tracks/instrumentals. Thank god I can sing again! I have been really keen to get vocals down on some tracks for myself as I have had all these tracks sat there waiting for vocals and then mixing etc. I finished an instrumental yesterday which sounds pretty good. I think it's ok for someone who doesn't have much knowledge on mixing/mastering. I am still learning every time so there will be flaws, but I can't get hung up on those or I won't learn/move forward. I am so happy that getting better instrument libraries has really given me a lot of motivation to produce more music. I am greatly inspired, and I really miss giving back to the watchers I have gained over the last few years. I want to take you on this journey with me :)

Apologies for the unread notes etc. I had been ill for a while, also transitioned to a new job this week so it's been a bit busy/stressful. Hoping to start being productive though asap... and get back to a lot of notes >.<;! I promise it's nothing personal to anyone, I just have had the busiest, toughest few months.
