In the (admittedly short) time I've been following you, I've seen improvement. I think art is one of those things where progress is slow and then at some point it kind of starts to take off. Maybe because getting better also means getting faster, and we improve the more we draw. So the faster we draw, the faster we improve - which is a nice circle? Or maybe it's just blind luck LOL.

I am glad you have motivation to work on art though, that seems to be the biggest hurdle most have to overcome. Motivation. So congrats on overcoming that!

Thanks! I went years without drawing and really hating it. It was a mess of stuff piled up against it and it really killed my drive, but now I'm pulling free! Improvement comes from practice, and without the practice I stagnated and that only worked against my motivation and self esteem. I think I beat it though, and I got dear friends to thank for it in the long run. :>

It's cool. I know how easy it is to either lose interest in, or just get separated from art. Been there myself. I'm glad you found your way back. As they say, we're all at our own skill level and on our own path when it comes to art. But sometimes it's nice to have company along the way, right?

The company and friends I've made with my art are priceless and totally worth any agony and self esteem issues I've suffered in the past. :D

Yeah, I totally agree with you on that one. Just remember never compare your art to anyone else and that will eliminate many of the self-esteem issues. It's not a competition with anyone but yourself.
