Working with mechanical watches is pretty fun, the mistake for me was attempting it as a profession. Now watchmaking and the politics thereof leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but the subject of this journal in particular reflects a time when I still felt the utmost joy in the prospect, which was when I was learning the trade~
