I know marvel was wanting to put spidey in civil war but becuase of that other deal they couldnt so maybe now that thats out of the way
they will put him in

OMG. I've been so disappointed with the Amazing Spider Man 1 and 2, so this is the best news for me. I love the MCU, and I know they're going to be amazing... None of that stupid junk like letting him into an extremely complicated lab without checking his credentials. :P

Sony is keeping ownership and will distribute his solo films and have final script approval.
It's sort of like The Hulk, Marvel owns the character again and can use him for Avengers but Universal will distribute any solo films with him, and you notice none have been put on the schedule.

Actually, yes, a solo Spider-Man 're-reboot' is coming in 2017, it's been confirmed. The fact is, Marvel gets to play with and gets some measure of control back over him, and that brings me hope.

The solo Spider-Man is going to be a Sony film just co-produced by Marvel/Disney.
Let's face it, hope can be rare in Hollywood because most of the studios do not play well with others. :)

Oh yeah, was reading that. I think Marvel smells blood int he water with the FF film, since studio heads have reportedly been unhappy with the finished product and are calling for some heafty reshoots before its release. Marvel figures if it bombs they might be able to get the rights back, so why help. XMen, however, is going to be a sticky situation for quite awhile. As far as the Hulk goes, his appearance in the Avengers may have been his most successful, so keeping him as a wandering support player for now may be a wise move.
