Commissions Temporarily CLOSED + Badge Pricing Changes

I will be closing commissions for a week or two so I can get caught up on the ones I already have and get one or two personal pieces/much needed business work in. (If I have quoted you for a commission and have not invoiced you yet, this does not apply to you.) A HUGE thank-you to everyone who has gotten a piece from me so far, you have helped to cover convention/travel expenses for the year and I am truly grateful. I hope to have all badges finished by the end of this week and larger illustrations finished by next week.
A heads up that I will likely be raising prices on some items; I've gotten a feel for how much time and material cost I spend on my badges and feel that $30 is a bit too low for the quality of my badges. International printing & shipping for badges will now be $8 instead of $5. Custom button add-on price will remain $3. I am also considering an hourly rate for larger illustrations, as the time spent on those varies greatly. Good or bad idea?

Thank you for the compliment by the way! :D
I'm even gonna try to get an internship by one of my fave Manga artist! I want to get just as good as you!!!!
You are so sweet, thank you!! It's very encouraging to think that someone looks up to me like that. That made my day :) good luck getting your internship!
Besides, if you can make a larger profit margin on quick, simple pieces that actually don't take that long, then having a smaller profit margin on excellent, complicated pieces for your portfolio that make you look good is a decent trade off. You just have to make sure to take more simple commissions than you take complicated ones.
