Ever since I was a little kid, I've always had this notion of a fairytale relationship. This was probably the product of watching too many sappy Disney movies, but it's what stayed with me.
I would dream of this person that compliments me perfectly, be a eye-popping little creeper to the girls around me (although that was before High School, obviously).
I am painfully aware that teenage relationships barely work out, yet the romantic in me strives and yearns for one anyhoo. Thing is though, I'm too cautious, too prone to holding out for that special person, instead of just going out, finding someone, and see how we connect; probably because the only easy place to find gay people is in clubs, and god knows that's not me (not to say that I'm anti-social. That shit though is just... blerf).
I want someone who's smart enough to know that they're not smart enough to know the ins and outs of a relationship. I want someone who's painfully aware of their inexperience, and is willing to grow and mature out of their foolish teenage years with me. I'm a romantic, but at the same time, I want something real. Because at the end of the day, pretty ribbons can only be stretched so far.
Are there any people in the world like this, Jebus?
Get back to me ASAP, man.
