The cellar does not need to be /full/ to be suitable. A full cellar suggests none have been enjoyed.... where is the fun in that?

I prefer to have a selection suitable for (nearly) any occasion.... and I have my own giftable bottles as well, that i might share my experiences and enjoyments with others on their own special occasions.

Indeed a cellar with some open slots invites questions, comments, topics of enjoyable discussion, and of course: "oh wait, you HAVE to try this one!" *pop*
