I LOVE Yu-Gi-Oh! too. I also love that season although everyone else doesn't. What do you mean though that the Naruto anime is unwatchable now??? they are going to have alot more cool fights coming.

(POSSIBLE SPOILERS TO THOSE WHO MAY READ THIS SOMEDAY)

Don't get why a lot people don't like 5d's tho. It has everything the original had: Every character being morally bankrupt w/exception of few. Main character being a distant, soft-spoken badass. The main rival, Jack Atlas, is essentially a fucking Seto Kaiba clone. In fact I consider 5d's a futuristic YGO, considering how many of the plot devices of the original are re-used. It's certainly better than GX with it's deus ex machina top decking, it's horrible characterization, it's angst, and of course it's hermaphroditic/trans-sexual dragon monster things raping school boys.

As for naruto

It's a personal prejudice of mine. Kishimoto's writing style is so predictable and so bewildering bad that the last good writing came from the Shikamaru vs Kakuzu fight, i.e. the fact that Shikamaru being the only ninja we've seen battling that isn't pulling off some B.S.-y DBZ-esque "RAAGH" attack and actually using his brain, being prepared, fighting stealthy and strategically (feigning a battle wound, exploiting Kakazu's voodoo powers, drawing him into to a pit and blowing up his body).

I preach time and time again that if Kishimoto stuck to his original japanese demons in a modern villiage-esque settings as apposed to ninjas, I would like this a little further.

Because of the fact that I have a tendency to overthink things to mangas that started off good, the further that Naruto progresses, the more the question of "wait these are ninjas?" pop out of my mouth.

I liked the Jiraiya battle, but again if it was an actual sage or in this case for Jiraiya, a demi-god versus a Deva Pain, it would have made a lot more sense than "NINJAS"

It's the same with Sasuke. Sasuke and Itachi were both animists or demi-gods or even half-demons I would have been a lot less critical about pointing out the flaws.

i must agree that 5D's ROCKS!!!!!!!!! As for the Naruto thing it is kinda predicitable but still awesome ( i think ).

I still say that it's badly written. It just seems like Kishimoto has decided to kill off characters he has no idea where he's going with, which is fine. I just wish his writing wasn't so redundant and predictable.
