Kinda excited
I'm somewhat excited for Wednesday. Not only will it be my first day off after about 5-6 dayssss.
But I'm also going to be going shopping, which I haven't been able to do for a while now.
I'm planning on going to Joann's (yes Joann Fabrics) to poke around the crafting section some more.
And also going to Michael's. My biggest intent is to buy some traditional stuff.
Mostly, a small sketch book that I can easily carry around,
a larger one to start scribbling in (instead of merely adding to my old as balls ones)
And some form of markers, for scribbling in color on sketches in said sketch books.
I haven't really decided how I want to go about that of course.
If I want something like copics or prismacolor markers.
or if I want to go with sharpies, or 'brush' markers.
I guess I'll figure it out once I'm out shopping.
I'm by no means I super serious traditional artist any more...
I think that comes from not being able to scan in drawings with any ability to retain the quality... lol
But I still do like scribbling traditionally. And I get this bad itch when I can't just grab something and draw.
And often, lately, I just can't. Unless I'm able to get my hands on paper towels...
or receipt paper... or something at work. lol
I kinda want a bag or purse with lots of compartments too...
But I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for that, I think. :T

Tactical/military bags are actually really great to use as a "purse" when carrying some art supplies! Lots of pockets to organize things!
I'm really bad when it comes to shopping at Micheal's, and I'm so glad that I only work there when we're closed. I buy a lot of stuff on impulse!
I work at Dollar Tree, and believe me, I spend a good chunk of my checks there alone. lololol
And yesss. I've had some Strathmore sketchbooks in the past. So those are what I'm planning on keeping my eyes peeled for when I go.
It's alright that you don't know which markers. 8| markers are a bit of a pain to master. And each have their own benefits.
Copics and Prismacolors just happen to be some of the more expensive ones. :T I'd carry around colored pencils more, but they actually make my hands hurt.
What with all that pressing down and such. :T And pain when sharpening more than five. lol
8U I'll have to look into tactical/military bags later.
I want to be able to organize the art supplies, plus like be able to stuff my umbrella in a pocket. Sort away my wallet and cellphone, etc.
Big open 'one pocket purses' are fun and all. but can get genuinely irritating. B|
