So I bought a violin made in the 1800’s last month. I brought it in the be fixed the day after I bought it. Nothing huge, just a few small fixes and glueing the seams back together. But it really shouldn’t be taking this long. It’s been over a month now. I know they had other violins needing touchups at the shop, but mine barely needed anything done. It didn’t need cracks fixed or varnish touchups. All it was was a few small, very simple things. I really really really want that violin back! I want to hear it’s beautifully aged rich tone again!
