Furries and Glasses!

How do they work?
See, I wear glasses irl. I have since I was about 8 years old. Since so much of me goes into Munch, I realized it would be so cool to ~finally~ give her glasses. The problem is, I realized I don't know a really good way to make this work at least semi-realistically.
I've only ever had other character illustrated with glasses, and it always felt like I cheated since the arms always just seemed to float beneath her ears. Like seriously, how do they stay on her face???
I didn't even really give this much thought before, but for Munch I'll be using my rl pair of glasses. Lemme tell yah, bringing something from the real world to the fur world can make you painfully aware of just how many tweaks would be needed to make it work. It also doesn't help that Munch's ears are set high tobegin with.
So, does anyone have any tricks they know of or even use themselves to work around this? Or am I doomed to stick with the arms just hanging out beneath the ears?
Thanks for any suggestions and examples!

I
IRL, I've worn bifocals since I was 5; actually been looking forward to my eventual cataract surgery because the repairs to the lenses in my eyes will include re-sculpting of the lenses, potentially it will be the first time in my life I will have ever seen really clearly.
When I'm wearing Fireline I have to put his head on then adjust myself and put on my glasses by passing them through his mouth. Kind of a strange thought that Fireline has to "swallow" my glasses so I can adequately see.
That said... Fireline wears pinche-nez spectacles when he wears his glasses. Both overcoming the issue with earpieces, and fitting his character as kinda Half way between Victorian and steampunk.
Now I do IRL have a pair of pince-nez glasses with my my near vision, reading, perscription. They fit my character very well.
Perhaps not at all helpful... but it is how I cope with my circumstances.
That being said, Depending on the particular facial structure, the nose arch of the glasses would be required to be extremely high, with large nose pads to help offer friction to keep the glasses in place and to better support it upon the peculiar facial features.
Or you could duct tape them in place. Whatever floats your boat really.
Good luck.
