Minecraft server [HELP]

All input is appreciated! My Spigot Minecraft server stopped working sometime in October last year. I have been meaning to fix it but never got around to it until recently, but still can't get it running. It boots up but nobody can join it. I've changed settings, mostly. It used to crash every time I'd try to start it up. After I changed some settings, it worked, but I ended up with the same settings I started with and it booted up just fine.
I noticed that the update page is down due to a DMCA notice or something like that. I have been looking at Bukkit, but I'm not sure if their download files are available anymore because when I try downloading from the link on the Wiki page(I got there because the "Get CraftBukkit" links to there), I get a message saying the server is taking too long to respond and the Connection timed out.
My question now is
Can anyone help me fix or help me find an update for Spigot? If I can't fix or update it, what is a good alternate that I can use?
