Sometime Antibiotics are worse than the infection they are supposed to cure.
Clindamycin allergy is nasty, it gave me a rash and itchiness all over my body and has attacked all my mucus membranes, so now I either have a cold or it paved the way to the cold & sore throat.
Meanwhile the infection is better but still there, visibly noticeable on my jaw.

I had a nasty reaction to a drug years ago. Your reaction sounds a lot like what happened to me. :( Get better soon!
