Someday I'll go where there ain't no rain or snow.
'Til then, I travel alone.

Caution, the wonderings of a wolf lie below.
Despite Mother Nature's best efforts with ice and rain, TFF was a smashing success. A full and proper journal will follow soon, however this weekend was something special, something unique. Having traveled to cons for the better part of a decade, TFF is one that my mind keeps returning to and eagerly awaiting. Maybe it's the amazing food, the friendly folks and hockey (boo Red Wings), and maybe it's how it can help someone realize that perhaps the new chapter of life that's been eagerly anticipated may have arrived, and maybe he's not as broken as he'd feared. Or perhaps people just look beyond the cracks.
However those sorts of thoughts will take more time to fully manifest. For now I have arrived at the dreaded moment in each con weekend. That moment that you realize that the people you hold so dear are far away now, that you're sitting all alone in an airport restaurant, and all the guacamole in the world won't fill that void.
But it'll damn well try.
