Thinking of Making a Furmeet

This is something I want to do to get more hangouts going to make more local furry friends, and to help take everyone's minds off of things on their minds by hanging out with friends This is tough because of my schedule, the fact that most of us don't have rides to drive or get to events, lack the funds, or lack the time as well to hang out, also don't want to meet uncomfortable people. This is a real thing and I understand that, there are people some don't feel safe, or can not be behave able around others. Due to my nature, of being kind and friendly and what not, I don't want to have to be the one to ban people or prevent them from coming out because that's how things start, but I ask that you behave yourselves out there guys. We are working hard as a community to continue to build the positive image of Furries as a whole. Here are some determining factors of what I'm looking at.
LOCATIONS
This is the major factor because we are spread out throughout the DFW/Fort Worth area and surrounding areas. I noticed there are not a lot of Fort Worth meets if any because I haven't really seen a place we would like to go yet.
Dallas? Too Far from me, because I live 45mins to an hour away depending on weather and traffic.
Other places???? I dunno, because I haven't been around the area enough to know of places.
ACTIVITIES
There is a lot we can do that will vary in cost!
-Drawinig meetups - Mainly free, depending on if you commission or something this idea is one of my favorites because it gives people a chance to draw, talk about art, and possibly make money. If possible I would like to merge this meetup during the once a month(unless we get another meet going) With this group called SHONUFF Sketch Dojo. It is full of awesome artists that love to draw, depending on what happens, we show up. draw, chat, snack, drink(if you are of legal age) and laugh. If you want to know more or see what the group is about you can watch the few livestreams... or show up when I post a journal about it.

We have an official facebook page and a fanclub page which I will update the info on these in a bit.
-Bowling
I could start another Arlington meet or branch it on to the Arlington Fur Meet at the Round 1 in the Parks Mall in Arlington. BUDGET BEWARE! this can get costly because of the arcade games, bowling, table tennis, billiards and stuff. Or we could just find a bowling alley in Fort worth or some place that will allow fursuits. I will have to get a proposal going for most of these places. But we have to be response-able about areas like this because. were in public, and there are people that either don't know what furries are, or only know the badside about furries.
That's pretty much all I got at the moment, but I will keep updating this journal until more is posted.
If anyone has any ideas on what we could do and how, that would be awesume!

Bowling meets are nice but you have to clear fur suiting with management and it excludes some people that might not be able to afford the extra cost of bowling.
