Do you guys still need help? I'm thinking about going this year but fear I may get extremely board with myself lol

So if I could be of some kind of help that would be awesome. Would also allow me to meet new people and so forth.

You're welcome to volunteer in the tabletop room if you'd like, I'm sure we could use some help running some games, keeping an eye on everything, setting up chairs. Just make sure to talk to con ops once you're there to get a volunteer ribbon.

I could help run games and I could even bring some games too if needed. Not sure what all is going on yet lol. I'd love to help out however I can while I'm there.

Any idea what they have going so far? Anyone doing anything in regards to MTG?

The head of tabletop is a particular fan of MtG and will be running a cube tournament, and one of our other staff wants to run EDH (just waiting on what time he wants for it). We're pretty heavy on the card games right now, looking for roleplaying/board games to balance it out, though we wouldn't say no to other card games.

I'll probably be putting out a rough list of what we'll have in the next week or two, just to (hopefully) get people excited.

I thought about trying to bring Dominion and what not. Tournaments can be a pain sometimes, just thought I'd offer some games that didn't really leave people feeling like they lost something. I also have house on haunted hill and possibly could pick up some other adventure isk board games.

I really love collecting exotic board games and card games, though I've not really had a need to do so lately as it seems everyones always busy. >.<

By all means, bring them. If you leave them in the tabletop room (or just have them with you while you're there), they'll probably get played, especially Dominion.

Unfortunately, with the changing of tabletop staff, we no longer have a number of card games, but we're slowly building our stock back up, and anything attendees want to bring is welcome.

If I bring things I'd probably just hang around there unless I need to go out for food or something. I would want to help watch over stuff and all that while watching my own things.

What kind of card games did you lose?

The person who was in charge of tabletop also ran gaming events, with more focus on card/tabletop, so he had a bunch of things like Dominion and other in-box card games (and expansions).

I have a whole range of different games, just gotta let me know what he had and maybe I can bring it? I'm not sure, but I would love to help out with anything really. Gaming is my thing, I know at AC I wish I could have stuck around with you guys in the gaming room more. I kept getting pulled away and forced to run around with other people that it was good to feel some actual 'relaxing' moments. Like just hanging out there talking to people.

I've got Dominion, House on haunted hill, munchkin.. god I'd have to go look. I also have a ton of the classic games, monopoly, risk, trouble, sorry and who knows what else lol

They don't get much play here so it would be good to see them being played as long as people can respect the pieces.

We'll do our best to make sure that they do. Once we're comfortable releasing a list of tournaments/events, we might include a list of games we have for open play. I'll put out a link (which hopefully people find/read), and you can bring whatever you'd like based on that.

Play worthy is debatable. Sometimes people want something obscure (or intentionally bad). See my NES collection for examples.
