Never just leave your finances in the hands of some one else and NOT check in on it.

Lots of bad stories about this kinda stuff out there, worst I know of happened to a card/gaming store we use to lo go to.

The owner hired of the biggest assholes in the world because they were the only ones in 80 miles with a top level MtG judge rating, something required to get the free and discounted retailer packages for tournements and the like.

He let them do his finances in the end.

They never paied his taxes.... not one dime of them, and keep the money for themselves. With the poor book keeping they did there wasn't even any evidence where any of the money was going just that it was disappearing. He couldn't finger them for it but it was obvious they had been stealing from him..... but they got away with it.... and he lost the store, it got shut down.

So those guys turned around and immediately paid the delinquent taxes and bought the place over with the money they stole from the place.

They still own it today and the other guy is still jobless and on welfare

What a gaggle of fuck-nuggets. I hope their shit catches up with them, the bastards. >:(

Nope, they are running the place better than the other guy did. Even with driving off people who show up there with there kids with there foul language and the way the talk to people. Parents really don't care for there kids hanging out at places where the owners cuss at them and make fun of them. But even still there more organized and run the business better so it makes up for the people they drive off with there dickery.

MAINLY because there assholes and they rip dumb kids that don't know better WAY off on buying cards.

Yup, my second girlfriend in college's mom bought an answering service from her boss. Turned out it owed an obscene amount in hidden back taxes. Poor lady's STILL sleeping in her office most nights, running the whole business by herself because she can't afford employees, trying to dig herself out after ten years.

Don't they HAVE to disclose that kinda things?
