technical difficulties... over?

Buy me a ko-fi and fuel more personal art!
JOURNAL STARTS HERE So for anyone who had been to any of my streams ever, ya'll will know that i regularly have trouble with SAI crashing, programs freezing, ect.
Why did no one ever suggest I might just need more RAM? xD
Well, hopefully that kind of problem will stop soon and I'll be a little more productive. I ordered some extra RAM for my laptop since it only have 4GB in. so I got another 4GB. Dad says that should be enough. if not I can always sell the two 4GB ram cards and buy two 8GB ones as my laptop can take 16GB total~
In future I'll be saving to hopefully get a desktop with far better specs. better graphics card, blabla all that.
Likely going to buy a ready made one since I doubt i can afford to build one when OS and stuff is factored into price. Gonna look at gaming computers since they tend to be good for art~
In other news, planning to do some YCH auctions soon~ look forwards to that~

Productivity programs like SAI really benefit from faster..well....everything. If you are looking to get a desktop in the near future allow me to make a few light suggestions. Get an Intel socket 2011 CPU, say an i7 5820k, good for gaming but geared more for productivity. 16gb RAM would be great for SAI, just make sure you get some really fast stuff, 1333mhz just won't do, 1600mhz is great, but if you really want to go crazy you can get 1866mhz for not much extra, just make sure the motherboard is rated to use 1866mhz. Another thing you could do to further your abilities with productivity, is to get an SSD dedicated to SAI/PS, for this I recommend a Samsung 850 Evo/Pro which come in the flavors of 120gb all the way to 1tb, and are actually very cheap for the performance and life span they offer. Since you have a laptop, I would suggest getting a nice high resolution monitor for SAI, a normal 1920x1080 screen will do fine but you could do os much more out of say, a 2560x1440 or 2560x1080 (ultra wide) or even 4k if you want to go all out. For graphics, really any mid to high end NVIDIA Quadro or AMD FirePro would do, but those cards are terrible for gaming. If you wish to game as well I would look into either an NVIDIA 970 or AMD 290x. (sorry for the paragraph of nerd speak x3)
