At the age of 83 an icon and a personal childhood hero passed away today
Leonard Nimoy was one of the few movie / TV actors that i couldn't help but look up to. Though i wasn't the biggest fan of the Star Trek series, I did love the performances of the cast members. Nimoy being the one that inspired me the most.
I can still remember every kid in school trying to do the Vulcan salute (the thing with his hands for those of you who don't know the show)... I have to say so far this year has been pretty horrible... weve lost alot of amazing people in the span of only a few months.
But... In the words of George S. Patton
"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived."
To his family my condolences and to Nimoy Rest in peace

He was a great actor (and author, if memory serves) but all of his smoking did eventually catch up to him :|
