It's a long video, but watch to the end so you can see its defense mechanism, when the peacock veil thing breaks off and it spreads what look like webbed wings. Apparently they also carry the stinging cells of man o'wars around to use as weapons.

But if you're talking about people who actually, genuinely believe that creatures from other planets look almost exactly like us, only grey and with big heads, yeah, that betrays a rather regrettable lack of imagination.
