That's right! A week from today, this wandering wolf turns 45 years of age! I'm already starting to plan the party, of course . . .

* The cake, from the bakery of our local Brookshire's grocery (they make great cakes) will feature art from my good friend  luprand. (This year, I'm paying him for it. He's been very kind to do it for free the last few years, but he really does deserve the $20 for his hard work.)

* The party will likely be at the local Huddle House where I work. That way I can share the cake with my co-workers. .

* The tricky part is deciding what to buy for my present. I always make sure to have a wide range of gift choices, from $3 (Hc Svnt Dracones RPG, PDF) to $70 (Necomimi animatronic ears + Pawstar wolf cub ear sleeves (brown)). Since I'm the only one with semi-disposable income, though, I have to buy my own present... which really ruins the surprise.

Currently, I'm leaning toward getting a nice HD webcam, since that would let me use FaceRig... but we'll see.
