Bird "purists"
Yeah, I´ve had to deal with them several times. I simply cannot believe that in the furry fandom we actually have almost fanatical purists just like society in general. It doesn´t help that I slap the scentific definition of Aves right into ther faces either (Feathered Vertebrates). So anything that has a spine, and most important, feathers, are in fact birds. Velociraptors were birds, and shit even a mythical being like a Sphinx is by definition one. But no, they gotta have cloaca, beak and no boobies!!! (well I can understand the last part since anything with mammaries will in fact be a mammal). And then there is the penis thing, big objections about that too even if there are real life birds and reptiles that have those.
Yeah, I know I shouldn´t even take notice about those fanatical fu**s and let them bother me. But Im not gonna kid myself either. I do take notice, we all do so lets not kid our selves about that.
I find these pure fantasy birds of mine sexy and interesting. They have boobs, they have cocks of unnatural length. And they are birds if I add feathers to them. Nothing but drawings but symbolic. Birds are symbols to alot of people including me. They are symbols of peace, war, liberty, life and a multitude of other forms of symbolisms we let them represent. And I have mine.
And I will always draw them the way I choose, and no matter what I add to these feathered vertebrates they are and will always be birds. Thats symbolic of artistic freedom.

Im glad I havent bumped into those kind of people... yet...
They're anthros. Anthros implies animal + human, meaning, they're part mammal, so boobs and cocks like that are justified as part of fantasy. :D Anthros do not have to be "pure." :3
Not to mention the fact that if any kind of anthro animal was meant to be "pure", they would not have sex for recreation. There goes adult art!
I wonder what this "bird purist" thinks of gryphons
ANd contiune to do what you find fun to do.
Just the musings and wapred advice of an old wulph.
