A year or two ago there was a lot of hype for a Monoprice Cintiq look-alike. It was supposed to be the best you could get that /wasn't/ Wacom.

I bought it and it is god awful. It's been sitting in a box at my boyfriends house for months because I can't sell it to anyone and I'm pissed I wasted so much money on it.
So if you were looking at alternatives and that machine popped up on your list, I'd HIGHLY suggest scratching it off, I know many others were also disappointed with their purchases and returned their own.

Honestly, Wacom tablets will still have their issues, but they're the standard for a reason.
I don't think many people can successfully emulate how good Wacom products actually are at their core.

It's just getting an idea, I saw a brand that is called Huion that has one and one downside to it is all the connecting cords for it are on the bottom of the screen for some reason??? so all the cords bend whenever you have it in sitting position

Yeah idk... I'd day that it was suffering from bad design but it may be a workaround for some sort of specific patent wacom holds?
That seems like it would get frustrating quickly

I've found another apparently it's not bad??? But these are brands I've never heard of but seem to be getting good reviews.
So far the huion is getting good reviews.

I'll let you know that I upgraded yo a Cintiq 13hd a while ago and it was by FAR the best thing I've ever done! I love my tablet so so much. It's really beautiful and well worth the money. I got adjusted to it the instant I started drawing with it! I highly recommend to save up some more bucks to get a Cintiq 13hd, you get what you paid for uvu
