I got fired on Friday.
Here's the long story.
I woke up on Friday with bad stomach cramps. I got ready for work, and just as I was getting ready to walk out the door, I needed to go to the bathroom. I didn't take my phone in with me because it was kind of an emergency, so I couldn't call and leave a message for my manager.
This caused me to get to work about 25 minutes late due to the delay and a bit of traffic. I called my manager again and left a message explaining what happened.
He sends me an e-mail 2 hours later that just says "Why were you late?" so I explain it again in the e-mail.
So, I leave to head home around 5, and had been talking to my manager up to the time I was leaving about stuff for next week.
At 6:30, I get a call from my manager and the HR person saying "We're terminating your employment as of today. You failed to meet the expectations set forth for you."
Soooo, yeah. I got shitcanned for taking a shit.

My job treated me like shit until I quit and then because I quit they took half my paycheck for any sick days I had taken because they said I failed to stay my full contract or something.
I never signed a contract...
But yeah.. because you DIDNT quit, I bet you have a case!!
