quick question on character giveaways!

ive been thinking about the character selling journal i made awhile back and...well i rather just GIVE em away, but the question is how? Random number generator? The "im thinking of a number between" game?
JUST how would you guys do it? Id love to hear input!

Like a number guessing game. Whoever guesses closest gets first choice and you work your way down until you run out of give-aways? o.,o
Or maybe something less silly.
i may do something different each time like number game one week then or a first come first serve thing, nothing solid yet.
