Spring is here...
Well...almost.
I'm not sure why, but spring is incredibly early this year for me. Normally in March it's still really cold, and back home in Canada and I often still have to deal with ice and snow. Here's something unusual, in South Korea, spring seems to come early; we've been getting very mild and warm weather. Sunday, when I went airsofting, it was a high of 14 degrees! I never expected to have such warm weather this early in the year. The rest of the week will be similar in warmth; with highs of 5 to 7 and lows of -2, it certainly seems winter is putting on a bit of a fight before it becomes warm full time.
With the coming of spring, it will be the a welcoming recovery from the bitter winter we had here (if any) and hopefully it will give me a chance to lower my insane gas-bill that plagues many Korean' during the final months of winter.
It also marks the first year anniversary of me being in South Korea. Last year at this time, I had been settling into South Korean living and working at my first job. Now, with my new contract set, I have five more months until I wrap up here and head on home, which will bring about some interesting considerations when I want to pack my stuff to leave; especially with my airsoft gear that I've acquired.
Anyway, I'll get to that hurdle when I come to it, and already know what I need to do. For now, time to keep myself ready and keep going with work and chillin and I'll return home with a wonderful bounty of experience.
Still no girlfriend/boyfriend though, oh well, in time....
