So, uh, that VancouFur thing...

...is already over, and I was so busy it really wasn't in the cards for me to write anything here about it.
Uh, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves though!
I know that staff is thrilled at how things went. We jumped from 600 attendees last year to 726 this year, and had 141 fursuits in the parade - that was awesome. I wore Patch for that, but didn't do anything in him beyond that. I'm looking at getting the head adjusted to give me some more visibility.
In related news, the Board of Directors for VancouFur (which I'm currently the president of) is incorporating as a not-for-profit society called the BC Anthropomorphic Events Association, which will make for lots of good benefits for the convention going forward. That's taken a lot of work and effort but it's come together well.
Next year we'll be at a new hotel, the Executive Inn in Richmond which currently hosts BronyCan and does a great job with them. More space and more flexibility for our attendees. Onward and upward!

Huzzah! I had such a blast, but a bigger hotel will be amazing, hopefully it can fit all of the fuzzbutts in one place!
