I would definitely follow you on patreon if you started a page there. It'd be a better option for me than your current website

the website is becoming a pain. i may have to change it radically or take it down. I am thinking on posting the stuff i do on patreon there, but as a non-paying site.

With social media becoming so prevalent, it may be useful to use a website as a "landing point" where one can find your content hosts rather than host the content there yourself. i.e. links to your FA, Tumblr, Twitter, and Patreon pages. I don't know how you use your page, since there's a paywall.

As for Patreon, I've seen people set up incentives and goals. For example, if you are in for $2/month, you get to see comic webpages a week before anyone else, as well as exclusive art. If you're in for $5 a month, maybe exclusive adult-oriented art and comics in addition to lesser perks. If a $500/month total goal is reached, then maybe comic content will go from 2 days a week to 3 days a week. Stuff like that.

It probably couldn't hurt to see what your audience is, what they want, and what they're willing to chip in for. See what other artists are using Patreon for, too, and ask questions on what works and what doesn't.

If you plan to use Patreon, though, you'll probably need to make it into a commitment, since people like to see that the artist they're funding is delivering content. It might also be a good idea to have a content buffer ready to get the ball rolling and to serve as an emergency resource in case life hits you with something random, like a bad flu.

Just stuff I've observed. :) There's probably lots of people out there with ideas or experiences that can help you.

I would strongly suggest gearing your patreon towards one small monthly project at a time, something you are >certain< you can keep up with, even with the inevitable unexpected insanity life throws at you. Your page should also acknowledge the backlog you have, and state that supporters will be helping you cut back on new commission work to allow time to go towards completing and/or refunding outstanding debts, in addition to the monthly comics you'll be releasing through Patreon (or whatever you end up deciding on as your primary project).

Your initial pledges may be slow, but once you start putting out the work for whatever you decide to make the patreon's project, you'll gain more support.

I would totally support you on patreon. Though, I do agree with Wolfblade. I just think it needs to be small increments something that you know no matter what you will be able to do monthly even if it just a small handful of images. Maybe, If the commissioners you owe stuff to are alright with it, an image or so a month could even be the stuff that you owe commissioners. I do not think everything you post for patreon should be already owed stuff, as some people might not like that but if you just sneak in one image already owed a month than that way it is a two birds with one stone kind of thing. Though, that is just a suggestion.

That does sound like a good idea. If it helps you finish some of your old art and comics, it be cool to see your PeteXPJ story continued and finished. We really need a comic for them done X3

I checked your patreon page and if i pledge 10 bucks i'll have access to your dropbox, but i have a question: all of your work that is on your website now is available on your dropbox too or just your recent works?

well for now is just recent and some of the old stuff. I'm pondering about posting the website's stuff there too.

I am also organizing so the website users can also have access to the dropbox.
