AnthroCon is a bit out of birdie's usual flight range. Peak travel season pricing for airplane tickets plus beyond overflow hotels haven't helped birdie want to go back. >.<

Anime Expo in Anaheim is after Califur in July and a good place to fursuit. It was free to walk the halls and the Dealers Den type of thing was free to shop after 4PM til 6PM closing time. There was about 10 suiters there and I have some photos in my scraps section. I did it last year and might do it again this year. Sounds like something to possibly add to your tour.
