Just curious about something...

Is it really that hard to say even a little something on every shared piece of artwork that's fav'd? I myself leave a comment on everything I fav most of the time whenever I have the chance to. I mean, sure...Fav's are nice and all, but it doesn't really let me know anything. Yet I see many artists who get a ton of comments along side fav's. It's reasons like this why I don't draw as much as I use to. It's not very encouraging, or supportive. Not very inspiring for sure. Plus, I hardly ever hear from someone new to meet unless they want a free art request from me. =/ Yup. I don't know about you all, but I'm not a fan of being used. Especially as a last resort, just because you're bored. Oh, and before anyone thinks this...No. I'm not asking, or begging for feedback. I've just always wondered about this stuff. Is it that I don't quite measure up to fetish material? I know I'm nowhere near as good as most artists around the net, but still...
Eh, reminds me of how someone could spend hours of hard work making a beautiful canvas, and get no response on it whatsoever. Yet when that someone makes a quick sketch of something fetish related, it suddenly catches SOME attention, lol. But, that sort of thing happens to artists all the time online. "Oh! That's the kind of stuff that turns me on! *Jerks off.* Okay. Moving on to the next one I find." =P Not saying that everyone is like that, but they're a great deal of those types out there. Anyway, back to the main subject. Now that I think about it. Maybe it's because of Tumblr. I've heard that DA and FA has gone down hill a lot more than usual with this sort of thing because of Tumblr. I dunno. Anyway, just saiyan...I don't expect to get any comments, especially after this. Flames maybe, but yeah. =P I'm pretty much use to it anyway, so I could really care less about it. I've just been curious is all.
In closing, just remember one thing...

don't let lack of comments discourage you, you will find people who share common ground with you whom will always be there regardless of what content you draw or post. Matter of fact I randomly came upon your page, have to say lovely work with the traditional sketches.
I won't ramble much but just keep at it, you will find a group of friends of which to share your work with who aren't in it for the free shit. took me almost five years to get even a small audience and a group of friends who always encourage progress and interesting ideas and sharing.
