Funny thing happened at the bookstore...
So I was in a second hand bookstore, looking as I do through the war section (disturbed to see all the Korean War books had been bumped to the "Other Conflicts" section) when I happened upon a copy of Mein Kampf (aka Hitlers books). Not unusual, even if it was a German language copy which I've never seen before. Being what looked to be a university textbook it had an insert at the front with other books in the series, and also showed that there was also an English language audiobook of Mein Kampf available.
So I thought "Whos job was it to do the reading for that?" Did they just rock up at the office and find the script on their desk? Or did they choose it? What if it was a celebrity reading? Which celebrity would do it, for fun even?
And then I spent the day laughing imagining different celebs doing readings for the Mein Kampf audiobook XD
List so far:
- Brian Blessed
- Mel Gibson
- Gilbert Gottfried
- Christopher Walken
- Morgan Freeman
- Jeff Goldblum

fun fact: "Mein Kampf" was banned in Germany until recently; publication is now allowed only with a mandatory introductory note explaining that it is made available only for scholarly reasons, and that the book's content is, basically, wrong.
